Swindibn's first family-orientated social club is staging a free party for the community tomorrow to celebrate its first birthday.
Businessmen spent £250,000 turning the old Plessey Social Club in Gorse Hill into the Vision Family Club last year.
It was given a light, airy feel to appeal to parents and children and applications for membership poured in.
The club in Cricklade Road offers somewhere for families to socialise for a quiet drink or take part in activities such as live bands and pool from 11am to 11pm.
It has a restaurant and a family area and a function room which can be used for business seminars and private parties.
Tomorrow, both members and non-members will be treated to a free buffet, music from the band Eddy and the Sapphires and a disco in the upstairs function room from 7pm.
Ramesh Madhani, a partner in the club, said: "We have achieved tremendous success in the local area since we opened a year ago and the anniversary deserves to be celebrated.
"We hope as many people as possible will come along to enjoy the free event which is also a thank you to the community for supporting the club."
