Pudding lovers can eat as much as they want and raise money for charity at the same time.

A posh frocks and puddings do has been organised in Wootton Bassett for much-needed pre-school funds.

For just £5, guests can enjoy as many puddings as they can eat and watch a fashion show at the same time.

The event takes place on Friday, December 1, from 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall, Station Road.

Proceeds will be given to Brinkworth Butterflies Pre-School, which is a registered charity and relies on fund-raising to stay open.

Pre-school secretary Melanie Baxter said: "This is a great girls' night out. People can eat all the puddings they want to without feeling guilty because they are helping us at the same time.

"Without events such as these we would have to shut because the children's fees do not cover the wages of the staff."

As well as the sweet treats and a free glass of wine, a fashion show will be staged by Dress For The Occasion, House of Hats and Swindon College.

There will also be a licensed bar, raffle and craft stalls.

Tickets cost £5, or £35 for a table of eight. To book phone either 01666 822429 or 01666 510771.
