PEOPLE in Wiltshire are preparing to do their bit for Children In Need next Friday.
Dominic Arnold, from Chippenham, is shaving his head at 9pm on the night of the televised appeal.
Richard and Paula Young are organising a 12-hour class of non-stop kickboxing and circuit training at Fit 2 Perform in George Street, Warminster. The marathon fitness session will run from noon to midnight on November 17.
The Bungalows in Priory Street at Corsham will be holding a quiz night on November 12 along with sponsored line dancing on November 17.
Alexandra Muir, six, from Warminster will be trying to swim 32 lengths in a sponsored swim.
Staff at Stroud and Swindon Building Society in Bradford on Avon will be dressing up for the day on November 17 and holding a raffle.
A concert will be held at Bromham Town Hall from
7 to 10pm on November 10.
Six people from Chippenham will be running a marathon on the treadmills in the gym on November 10.
Key Day Nursery School in Chippenham will be holding a bring and buy cake sale on November 17.
Gingerbreadmen will be sold for 25p each around various schools in Wiltshire. Each one sold will raise 5p for Children in Need.
Television celebrities were put to the test on an assault course at the 9th Supply Regiment headquarters.
On the night of the televised Children in Need Appeal on November 17, viewers will be able to watch the event by phoning in with donations.
