Swindon & District Minors League: In the under 11A league unbeaten Stratton and Westbrook fought out a thrilling game which saw Digby score five minutes from time to give Westbrook the points with a 2-1 victory.

Westbrook's other goal scorer was Fitzgerald. Stratton replied through Gasgoine.

Greenmeadow continued their unbeaten run by beating Shrivenham & Watchield Royals 5-1. The Greenmeadow goals came from Peach (2), Waitbread, Richards and Jeffries. Hayward scored for the Royals. In the league's remaining game Eastville boys went down fighting, losing 1-0 against Old Town, the only goal of the game coming from Hobbis.

In the under 11B league Stratton Cirencester remain unbeaten after a fine 4-0 win over close rivals Croft. The Cirencester goals game from Peare (3) and Uttram.

Ferndale maintained their 100 per cent record with a 9-1 victory over Ramsbury with goals from Stevens (4), Henshaw (3), Leefield and Webb. Wootton Bassett snatched the points following a 2-1 win against local rivals Wroughton with goals from Toomey and Dimond. Wroughton replied through Hiscock and Moore saved a penalty. Malmesbury beat a spirited Blunsdon Colts side 11-0. Malmesbury's goals coming from Collinson (3), Higginbottom (2), Whiteing (2), Brown (2), Bains and Linehan.

In the under 12's league W. Bassett extended their lead at the top after beating Malmesbury 6-1, the Malmesbury goal coming from Horton. Mitel moved in to third place following their 6-0 win over Dunbar Westside, Mitel'd goals coming from Stevens (4), Bardwell and Higgins. In the remaining league fixture Westlea beat Brunel Boys 14-2 with goals from Gooden (3), O'Haden (4), Gunn (2), Gooden (2), Turner, Dixon, Turner and an own goal.

In the cup replay Stratton moved on to the next round after beating Highworth 6-0 with Salter scoring a hat trick.

In the under 14's league leaders Eastville boys marched relentlessly on with an emphatic 18-0 win over a spirited Wiltshire Bullets side. Eastville goal scorers were Bennett (6), Langfree (4), Barber (2), Stonehouse (2), Mill (2), Pike and Thompson.

AFC Mannington continued their 100 per cent record winning 2-0 in a very close game against W. Bassett. Mannington's goals came from King and Timm.

Despite a brave performance from Haydon Wick, Dunbar Westside proved too strong winning 4-0 with goals from Ferris, Vadgamma, Fletcher and Lewis.
