The Royal Gloucestershire Berkshire and Wiltshire Regiment will be offering Wiltshire pupils a taste of army days in one of its school days.
As part of the Keep the Army in the Public Eye tour, the regiment is offering school children the chance to take a look around two of Wiltshire's army camps until Saturday.
The visits kicked off last week, with youngsters from four Swindon schools travelling to Tidworth army camp.
Running tandem with the tour is a series of one-day team building events at the Tidworth and Colerne army camps for school students aged between 15 and 16 years old.
Major David Brown said: "The aim of these schools events is to run a series of practical team building activities for approximately 30 to 40 students on each day.
"These will be organised by the regiment and hopefully, by working alongside our soldiers for a day, the pupils will find their interest in the army greatly stimulated."
Among the schools who took part in assault courses and small arms training at Tidworth army camp last week were Hreod Parkway School, Ridgeway School, Kingsdown School and St John's School.
There will also be three days at the Winterbourne Gunner Camp at the end of the month, with pupils from Commonweal School going to the camp.
