FORMER England Test cricketer Geoff Miller is the guest speaker at the Wootton Bassett Sporting Dinner next month.
Mr Miller admits he was a "boring bread and butter cricketer" but he has forged a growing reputation as a top-class speaker and raconteur.
He will be supported by Yorkshire comedian Mike Farrell. The event takes place next Thursday at 7pm in the De Vere Hotel in West Swindon.
The function aims to raise money for: Wootton Bassett School and Lime Kiln Centre; Wootton Bassett Sports Association; Wootton Bassett Rugby Club; Community Soccer and primary schools in the town.
