I TOTALLY agree with Sir Leslie Loader's letter headlined Fair Play in the Gazette last week.
The only way to obtain fair play is to elect an English Parliament which Tony Blair will not consider, although it would end the curent injustice and give us in England, democratic control.
Total Government expenditure in 98/99 was Northern Ireland £5,450 per head, Scotland £4,772 per head, Wales £4,856 per head and England £3,897 per head, which is totally out of balance.
All countries who vote for devolution should raise their own taxes to sustain health, defence, social services, pensions etc.
Further, all public sectors jobs such as the DVLA in Swansea and MoD establishments in Scotland should revert to England to ensure further job security.
I urge you all to write to your MP to ask for fair play.
