MEMBERS of a committee set up to oversee the creation of a town trust in Bradford on Avon have been praised for their dedication.
The group was set up to look at how a town development trust could work to promote key projects in the town.
Trust chairman Sir Donald Maitland has paid tribute to members who have spent hours considering the future of St Margaret's Hall and the Kingston Mill site.
Sir Donald said: "I am most impressed by the contribution individual members of this working group are making. It is quite clear every single one is motivated by the desire to achieve the right result for our town."
Trust status will officially take effect following talks with the Charities Commission, but the working group has already prepared a report on options for the management of St Margaret's Hall and facilitated talks between Taywood Homes and two high-tech businesses interested in the Kingston Mill site.
