The Wiltshire branch of St John Ambulance will receive more than £1,400 after a charity race night.
A night at the Swindon Greyhound track, involving Barclays corporate clients from the Swindon area, raised £720. The amount given to St John Ambulance is double that, thanks to the bank's pound-for-a-pound scheme.
The £1,440 total will go toward the fund to pay for a new headquarters in Swindon.
Barclays area corporate manager, Steve Hicks, said it was a great way to raise money for a good cause.
He said: "This was a completely new venture for Barclays which gave us an opportunity to have an enjoyable evening and to support such a worthy cause as the Wiltshire St John Ambulance, which provides a vital service to the people of this area."
The chairman of the north sector of the Wiltshire St John Ambulance is Rikki Hunt. He said: " I really enjoyed the whole evening and thought it was a fun way to raise money for charity.
"On behalf of the north Wiltshire division of St John Ambulance I would like to thank Barclays for their generosity and support."
