Swindon schools will be uniting at a carol service to raise cash for the NSPCC.
The service will be on December 8 at Christ Church, Old Town.
It will feature choirs from Holy Family Junior and Crowdys schools, with the nativity being performed by King William Street Primary School.
Before the service people will be invited to light a candle to remember children past, present and future, and afterwards coffee and mince pies will be served in Christ Church leisure centre.
A welcome will be given by the Rev Simon Stevenette and there will also be an address by the Bishop of Swindon.
A collection will be taken for the local branch of the NSPCC by the Wanborough Brownies.
This will be a special start to this year's festivities and Christ Church is hoping for a big turn-out.
