Hellenic news: Swindon Supermarine, who beat Brackley Town 1-0 on their own ground in the first leg of the Floodlit Cup Semi-Final in midweek and beat Highworth Town in a penalty shoot out in the Wilts Premier Shield, were back in league action at Harrow Hill beating the home side by two goals to one.
The three points enabled them to draw level on points at the top of the Premier Division table with local rivals Highworth Town.
After their midweek efforts Supermarine did not look at their best in the early stages and keeper Chris Webb made a great save to stop his side going a goal down.
At the other end new signing Tate Hulbert, who rejoined the club from Oxford City, could have given his side the lead missing a good opportunity.
The South Marston side eventually took the lead in the 37th minute, Simon Futcher netting with a great 25 yarder and five minutes later good work by Vinnie Parker and Tate Hulbert led to Neil Matthews adding a second.
As conditions deteriorated in the second half Supermarine looked content to sit on their two goal lead, but were forced on the back foot in the closing stages as a scrambled goal from Moore in the 90th minute gave Supermarine an anxious few minutes of injury time to defend.
Supermarine boss Alan Dyton said: "I was pretty thankful to round off a busy week for the players with three points that enabled us to draw level on points with Highworth. We have all had a busy week.''
Fairford Town, in fifth spot in the table, received a setback when they were beaten at home by Tuffley Rovers by three goals to one.
Fairford should have wrapped up the game in the first 45 minutes, easy chances falling to Pete Horwat and Gareth Davies.
However, five minutes before the break a deep ball into the Fairford area fell to the unmarked Ward who headed past an exposed Fairford keeper.
After the break Pete Horwat had two good efforts saved before Scott Burry equalised with a great 30 yarder into the top corner of the net.
Fairford pushed Tuffley back into their own half for long periods and missed several more chances before another long ball into the area caught the Fairford defence leaden footed and Roberts added a second.
Fairford then lost their way a little and Lee added a third with a free header ten minutes from time.
A disappointed Fairford manager Mark Webb said: "You can't miss as many chances as we did, defend poorly and expect to win, it was a game I thought we should have won.''
In Division One West leaders Gloucester City made it 11 wins out of 11 when they defeated Bishops Cleeve by a goal to nil scored by Casey a couple of minutes before half time.
Carterton Town kept the Hellenic League flag flying in the FA Vase beating St Blazey in the second round replay by three goals to one.
Going a goal down to their Cornish visitors early on Carterton fought back with goals from Mortimer-Jones, Herbert and Henry to gain a place in the third round draw.
Pegasus Juniors lost their second round replay at Nantwich Town by four goals to two.
