Swindon & District League: First Division side Fusion Coleview took Premier Division Windmill to extra time before going down by the odd goal in a 13-goal Advertiser Cup thriller.
Fusion goals included two from Andy Wills, who scored seven times in last week's demolition of Jigsaw group.
More goals from Chris Smith (2), Des Carney and on his birthday, Dave Tiler, were not enough, though, and Windmill had Jason Thompson (2), John Devoile, Mark Usher, Matt Newman, Sam Bailey and Clive Goddard to thank for their memorable win.
There was a shock for champions County Ground. They were beaten 3-1 by Clifton whose goals were scored by Ben Keating, Del Wells and Lawry Smith. Mitch Coleman scored County Ground's consolation.
Barron Heating had a welcome 4-2 away win over Jigsaw. The home side's goals were scored by Pete Keegan and Stu Dobson, Barron Heating's by Paul Skeates, Darren Wilson (2), and Liam Siddons.
Premier side Custom Homes proved too strong for Division One Shield and Dagger, running out 11-1 winners.
Hat-tricks from Graham Scott and Steve Shaw, two from Keith Gargett, one each from Paul Collins and Dave Murphy, plus an own goal sealed a comprehensive victory.
Nalgo lost 4-3 toSkin Graffiti while the other cup game also saw go down to the odd goal in seven.
Swindon Asians were the unlucky losers this time, while Gareth Walton, Dave Foy, Joe Packer and John McGookin were the scorers for Spectrum.
In the George Thomas Don Rogers Cup, Moredon Gulag disposed of strong challengers Artois Atheltic, winning 4-0 with goals by Mark Arnold (2), Mark Stacey and Danny Murphy. Manor were no match for the Highworth King Queen who are going from strength to strength and sailed to a 6-0 win in which 'CJD' Taylor scored a hat-trick.
Marshgate scored three times against Woolworths through Lee Giles and Leo Reeves (2), but still ended up as the losing side, thanks to goals by Darren Page, Neil Miles and Michael Owens (2).
Goalkeeper Gene Barton got on the scoresheet in Lower Stratton Reserves' 4-2 defeat by Bakers Stratton. He joined James Ainger on the scoresheet when he scored with a penalty.
Gorse Hill put five past Jigsaw Reserves as Jason Smith hit a hat-trick and both Jason Scott and Paul Rothwell also found the target.
Wootton Bassett beat Vicaima by the odd goal in five.
In the Under-15s Advertiser Cup, Mitel went to Wootton Bassett and won 7-2.
In the Under-15 Premier Division, Paul Parsons scored four times and John Anglis as AFC Dolphin beat Allied Goodheart 5-2. Goodheart's scorers were Vince Meredith and Chris Edgmont.
Division One saw a close game between Liden Reserves and Ramsbury which Liden won 3-2. Their scorers were Pete Hunt, Shaun Cox, Mick Redford, while Allan Harvey scored twice for Ramsbury.
Division Two leaders Swindon Eagles went down 4-1 to Pinehurst Community. Mick Doollan hit the target for Eagles, while the Pinehurst goals were scored by Jason Kearns, Chris Lanner, R Adams and A Tiler.
In the other game in this division, Westwood lost 4-3 to NS Optimum.
In the Under-16s section, Greendown consolidated their position at the top with a 7-0 win over Imperial Boys.
Matt Shears scored a hat-trick and there were also goals from Sam Moore (2), Wes Pigeon and Ben Gunning.
In the other game, Stratton Crosslink won over Wroughton Juniors with from Nolan Paul (2), John Magani and Gary Cox.
