In answer to the letters in the Evening Advertiser paper referring to the 30 people being killed and the anger and anxiety over our railways in the future since being privatised.

Last year a list was published of the accidents which occurred when it was British Rail. More than 400 people were killed and 2,000 injured. Two of the accidents were: Harrow and Wealdstone 112 killed, 340 injured; Lewisham 90 killed, 173 injured.
