Cricklade scored ten tries without reply, but Hungerford's admirable and dogged determination meant they were never able to take it easy and scores had to be earned rather than being gifted.
Cricklade scored three early tries early on through flanker Liam Dunford (2) and Danny Lloyd.
A typically evasive run from the half way line saw Edward Keane score in the corner. Prop Steve Baldwin got the next, and Simon Howse was able to grab a brace of tries shortly before half time.
Hungerford restricted Cricklade to only three tries in the second half, scored by Andy Wiseman (2) and Kelvin Linsely.
