The trustees of the Chippenham Borough Lands Charity have handed out more than £20,000 in awards to groups and individuals in Chippenham.
The trustees met on November 13 when they agreed 25 awards, with a total value of £20,350.
They made 15 individual welfare awards totalling £7,890, which can cover medical items such as nebulisers and three individual education awards totalling £3,570 .
There were seven group awards, including money for Chippenham Ladies Hockey Club, money for Christmas activities for the Seymour House Day Care centre, transport costs for the Chippenham Stroke Club and Arthritis Care, and Christmas food hampers for the Citizens Advice Bureau.
Reach received a grant for its Communications through Arts Project and Relate was awarded funding for counselling in Sheldon and Hardenhuish schools.
