TROWBRIDGE Wanderers gained their fifth consecutive league win by beating The Bell 4-3.
Paul Clarke opened the scoring for Wanderers, picking up a through ball from Iain Saunderson and firing into the bottom right corner.
Two minutes later The Bell equalised when Andy Buller managed to get a touch in a goalmouth scramble. Nick Tate put Wanderers back in front just before half-time when his corner kick went in at the near post.
Nick Harrison made it 3-1 20 minutes into the second half, slotting the ball in at the bottom left corner from a Paul Clarke lay-off. Five minutes later Dylan Turner made it 4-1 with a delightful lob that left the goalkeeper standing and trickled over the line. A minute later Bob Young made it 4-2 with a 20-yard volley.
The Black Horse simply outclassed Devizes Snooker Club with a 23-0 win.
Jonathon Scholfield opened the scoring with his first touch of the game and went on to gain a double hat-trick. With the score 12-0 at half-time the Snooker Club came out and battled to the end, almost gaining a consolation goal.
Other Black Horse scorers were: Gary Campbell (4), Lee Campbell (3), Mark Hockley (3), Mark Valderey (3), James Mitchell (2), Jamie Campbell and Matthew Mundy.
The Greyhound came out 5-4 winners in a gripping match against Fusion Athletic. After coming on as substitute only four minutes into the game, Paul Taylor played a through ball to Dave Shore who gave The Greyhound the lead. On 13 minutes Fusion equalised when Ranford Henry chipped the keeper from 20 yards. Fusion went 2-1 up six minutes later when Tony Fry won a penalty which Tony Sardoe converted.
Sardoe got his second on 33 minutes to give Fusion a 3-1 lead. Nine minutes later Dave Shore left the Fusion goalkeeper with no chance and a half-time score of 3-2 to Fusion.
One minute 20 seconds after the restart saw The Greyhound go level when Steve Green made a 30-yard solo run and slid the ball left footed past the Fusion goalkeeper.
Mike Eddy made it 4-3 to the Greyhound with a blistering dipping free kick from 35 yards. Fusion drew level on 31 minutes when Paul Waddington scored an own goal. With only three minutes left another through ball from Paul Taylor found Dave Shore who promptly fired into Fusion's top left corner of the net to gain his hat-trick.
Imber United and The Dolphin had a very close hard fought game, with the poor playing surface not helping. The Dolphin took the lead in the 24th minute with an own goal from Russ Haffenden. Imber equalised six minutes later through Paul Nicholls.
With the Dolphin rattled, Nicholls gained his second six minutes later striking just inside the 18-yard box to find the bottom left corner of the net and a 2-1 half-time lead.
Five minutes after the restart Imber went 3-1 up when a pass from Fred Peebles allowed Mick Rogers to chip the goalkeeper from the left.
Nicholls completed his hat-trick in the 62nd minute with a well finished goal after beating two players to give Imber a 4-1 lead. The Dolphin reduced the gap in the 72nd minute when James Booth scored and had a chance to make it 4-3 with a late penalty. Darren Folkard stepped up but missed.
