Dad Justin Oliver is raising money for Swindon's Princess Margaret Hospital, where his daughter fought back from septicaemia.
Shannon, who is now seven months-old, fell ill in August and was sent to the Thames Children's Unit at PMH.
Justin, 34, was so impressed by the unit that he wanted to offer it something in return, and he has been given the go-ahead by Calne Town Council to organise a weekly boot sale.
Doctors believe Shannon, who is having ongoing tests at the hospital and could be on medication for as long as four years, contracted the disease through a urine infection.
Justin, who lives in Corfe Crescent, Calne, said: "Septicaemia is one step down from Meningitis and if it hadn't been treated quickly it could have been a life or death situation.
"It will be nice to be able to give something back to the hospital,'' said Justin.
The first of the sales will be held at The Pippin this Sunday from 10am to 2pm and they will carry on every Sunday until Christmas.
The situation will be reviewed in the New Year.
