Recently there have been too many stories about doctors who've behaved unethically or fallen down on the job.

So it is a pleasure to know that a prestige award has gone to Dr John Henson, who heads Princess Margaret Hospital's department of diagnostic radiology.

Judges for the Nycomed Amersham Diagnostic Imaging Award were impressed by the inspiring leadership he has shown in his department. But those who have benefited most are patients.

He deserves our congratulations and thanks.
