I FIND the cri de coeur from R Recardo on behalf of BBC Wiltshire Sound's former programme presenter Shirley Ludford, to be nothing more than sour grapes fiddle-faddle.
As a fanatical fan and equally ferocious critic of the radio station on occasions, I have to say that I am most delighted with the new format introduced by the new managing editor, Vernon Harwood, and he has my full support.
The two new programmes local to Swindon presented by Dan Chisholm and Peter Heaton-Jones respectively, are most excellent.
Judging by the busy phone-in facility, it is much appreciated by the core listening audience.
Mr Harwood's brief is surely to broadcast to the majority.
The listeners complaining have never been anything more than a small minority.
