I would like all of the people of Wiltshire to help Shirley Ludford get a fair deal as a presenter on BBC Wiltshire Sound.
It was Shirley who gave me a fair chance to become a poet through her limericks on a Saturday. I have thanked her by letter.
Also, Shirley is the only one of BBC Wiltshire Sound's staff who ever wrote or phoned me, thanking for a letter or card I sent.
She should have her weekend programme back.
I met this very talented lady on January 27 this year. I even made some bread pudding two, in fact and she phoned to say she and her mother enjoyed it very much.
I feel Mr Harwood should give Shirley her weekend job back, as Sandy Martin's job was taken off from weekdays at noon to 2pm, and poor Shirley lost the weekend job to make room for him.
