CHISELDON: Two men posing as water board officials have stolen £760 after tricking their way into a house, police say. One was white, 5ft 3ins or 5ft 4ins tall, thick set, has a foreign accent, aged about 30 and wore a short grey coat. The other is also white, aged about 30, 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall, of thinner build, with short, dark, thick hair. He had an English accent. The two struck at about 1.40pm yesterday (Fri 24th Nov), and anybody with information is asked to contact the police on Swindon 01793 528111.
