THE whereabouts of 30 Calne pensioners is a mystery.
The senior citizens were joining a mystery coach tour organised by the Rotary Club of Calne.
The trip set off from Calne Town Hall at 10.30am, but the group have no idea about where they will be whisked off to next.
The coach has been donated by Exelsior Coaches who are keeping the route a closely guarded secret.
"It's a mystery to us as well," said Rotarian Ivor Watkins. "I do know they'll have a thoroughly good time."
The tour will last for two hours and include tea and biscuits and a sing-song.
The senior citizens will each be given an electric kettle - a Christmas present courtesy of British Gas Charities. The Rotary Club has been given kettles, smoke detectors and low energy lightbulbs by British Gas which they will be distributing over the festive period.
This is the first time the Rotary Club, which takes senior citizens for drives and to a garden party every summer, have done a Christmas tour.
