ARTISTS Janet Longden and Judy Snowdon decided to put their village on the map to mark the millennium. And that's just what they've done - by creating a colourful map of Fovant.
Their illustrated map forms a portrait of their village since its founding in Saxon times as Fobbefunta.
It depicts ancient and modern landmarks, including Chiselbury Camp - an Iron Age hillfort on Fovant Downs - and buildings in the village itself, such as St George's Church, the chapel, the village stores and the village hall.
"We enjoyed working on this together," said Mrs Longden, pictured left. "We agreed on which part we each would do and it came together very quickly."
