A cyclist was taken to hospital with head injuries this morning after he was in collision with a car at the Victoria Road/Bath Road junction in Old Town.
Traffic from both Bath Road and Victoria Road was jammed as police and paramedics attended the scene following the accident at 7.30am.
The bicycle was in collision with a blue S-registration Peugeot the cyclist was attempting to turn right from Victoria Road into Bath Road.
Duty Inspector Dave Mulland, of Swindon Police, said the cyclist was conscious at the scene of the accident.
