NOW that the new hospital for Swindon and Marlborough is rising rapidly may I make two pleas.

First, I very much hope that the car-park will be designed to suit the patients first. At the present hospital most of the parking spaces near to the hospital seem to be reserved for staff.

Recently, I was sitting in my car in the outer car park and a helicopter landed almost beside me.

Secondly, I do hope that attention will be paid to clear, simple signs.

I really don't think Opthalmology best describes "eye clinic" and there are numerous other examples.
