PARENTS blocking a Staverton road while dropping their children off at school are being asked to be more considerate.
The situation is so bad in School Lane that some householders are unable to get in or out of their drives during the morning and afternoon school runs.
Now Staverton Parish Council is working with the village school to try to find a solution.
A letter has gone out to all parents asking them to car-share, look at setting up a walking bus, or walking their children to school. Talks are also under way to see if parents could use the Staverton Club car park as a drop-off and collection point.
Council chairman Peter Lavis said they were keen to have any ideas or suggestions on how to improve the parking problems.
l Ideas please to the parish clerk on (01225) 782009 or the school on (01225) 782388.
