STAFF at Trowbridge-based Redwood Books fear their jobs will go, following the announcement that the company is being merged with Bath Press.
The 119 workers have been told the premises in Canal Road industrial estate will close within the next three months.
One said: "We have been told the site here in Trowbridge is closing.
"We were all called in to the warehouse and asked if we will move to Bath. For most people the answer is no.
"So far there has been no word of them offering us redundancy."
The workers were told the Trowbridge company will merge with The Bath Press and Bookcraft.
Managing director Peter Palframan said: "I have particular affection for Redwood Books as it was the first company I turned from loss to profit when I joined in July 1994.
"However, the time is right to merge the company with The Bath Press and Bookcraft, and I trust the majority of employees will wish to transfer to the other sites.
"We have no plans to make anyone redundant, although we do accept not everyone may wish to transfer to the other sites and certain comparable posts may not be available."
The Bath Press recently announced a £6.5m investment in new equipment, and is spending £9.5m to relocate the Bath-based book manufacturers from its premises in Lower Bristol Road to a greenfield site. This will probably be near Bath, where most of its workers live.
