DEVELOPERS who have already won permission to convert a derelict cloth mill in Westbury into more than 70 new homes are bidding to add another three dwellings to the scheme.
Bellway Homes won permission in March to convert the Grade Two listed Bitham Mill's buildings into 22 homes, and to partially demolish some buildings to make way for another 51 homes.
West Wiltshire District Council said then the plan could not proceed until a structural engineer's report had been produced.
Bellway's new plans also include reducing the size of the pond on the site and adding seating and a walkway to Bitham Lane.
Westbury Town Council has raised no objections but expressed some concern about the impact of water drainage on Albert Street at the time of the original application.
Some nearby residents have objected to the demolition of the original buildings and the alterations to the mill pond.
The district council was due to discuss the application for the three extra homes last night.
They were expected to back the application.
