A 22-YEAR-old man claims he was attacked by three people wearing knuckledusters and brandishing a knife while going for a walk in Wootton Bassett.
Ahmed Shujah, who has been living in Swindon for just over a month after relocating from Pak-istan, managed to fight them off and they ran away.
He was approached after he got lost and found himself at Hook Overbridge at 9.30pm on Tues-day.
He says two of the offenders were Afro-Caribbean men, aged between 25 and 30.
They were both around 6ft tall, of medium build and were both wearing black T-shirts, black jumpers, black trousers and black shoes.
The third was a woman of mixed race, aged around 20 , who was 5ft 2ins.
She had black shoulder length hair and was wearing a long black coat and black trousers.
Anyone who saw the attack, which is being treated as an attempted robbery, is asked to contact Wootton Bassett Police on 852213.
