There are thousands of goodies at cut-throat prices to be had on Newsquest Wilt-shire's Internet site, thanks to one very friendly fish!

Bargains come fast and furious under the well known Fish4 umbrella site which allows users to search for cars, homes, jobs and now bargains at the click of a button.

All you have to do is go to the home page and click on the 'Find a Bargain' logo on the right hand side of your screen.

Bingo!

A world of tempting delights at remarkably low prices will pop up before you can say "fish". Just type in what you are looking for and let the search engine do the rest.

It's that simple and that fast.

With nearly 2,000 bargains featured every week, there will undoubtedly be something to tempt you to part from your pennies.

All the advertisements are taken from our classified sections printed in the Evening Advertiser, Gazette and Herald series and Wiltshire Times, making the choice not only great, but also extremely diverse.

So, whether it be clothes, records, books, household items or electrical goods you are hunting for, the fish will surely find it.

Recent juicy bargains have included a laptop complete with modem, carry case and Windows 98 for £595; a computer with games and software for £100; Pokemon cards at 3p; a video unit at £10; a Sony car stereo and ten disc CD changer for £200; a pocket colour television for £15; a Dreamcast with games, gun, two controllers, memory card, Internet connection and rumble pack for £225; an Orange mobile phone for £30; a gent's racing bike at £15; and a washing machine for just £35.

Newsquest Wiltshire's digital media manager, James Trudgian, said: "This service is an accumulation of advertisements featured in all our newspapers and allows people to advertise on-line.

"But users must first place their advertisement in one of our papers so that it can be automatically placed on Find a Bargain.

"There is a huge scope of products listed on Find a Bargain which allows them all to be featured in one place as well as scattered throughout our papers, giving people more choice and a better service."

Fish4's services are quick, easy and expanding by the month.

Fish4homes now holds details on a staggering 145,000 homes more than a quarter of all properties for sale in the UK while Fish4cars has an average of 162,000 used vehicles to choose from, ranging from motorbikes to trucks, and Fish4jobs is the country's biggest source of UK vacancies, with more than 31,000 jobs to choose from at any one time and a estimated 120,000 available positions per month.
