IT is not just Swindon people who are getting involved in the Evening Advertiser and Rotary Christmas Appeal local businesses are playing their part too.

The distinctive blue and white bins which you can find at 15 collection points throughout town have been supplied free by Impact Exhibitions and Signs.

The firm has been in Swindon on the Okus Trading Estate since they were formed five years ago.

This is the second year running that the firm has supplied the four foot high bins, where Adver-tiser readers can deposit toys for donation.

Carl Jackson, who is Graphics Director at the firm owned by his father David, said: "It's nice for us to be involved in something like this that benefits the local community where we've built our business.

"We like to do our bit in Swindon, and we've been fortunate enough to help out all manner of charities and organisations in the area.

"We've sent a letter to all of the other companies based on the Okus Trading Estate and we hope they'll play their part.

"We've even got a collection bin at our offices so anyone on the estate wanting to donate doesn't have far to go.

"It's great for us to be associated with a big organisation like the Rotary Club. The Swindon Rotarians put in a lot of hard work to help people out, and they can't do it all on their own."

Impact, which employs six people, has expanded in Swindon from the original one unit on the estate to its present three.

It isn't just toys that generous Advertiser readers can give though. We are also happy to accept gifts of cash or non-perishable food items such as tins of food.

These can be taken to the Adver reception at 100 Victoria Road, Swindon. You can even make credit card donations online
