Bedworth Utd 1, Cirencester Town: Cirencester did well to come away with maximum points, but it took a great penalty save from Kevin Sawyer near the end to turn the balance in Cirencester's favour.
Cirencester opened the scoring with a superb goal in the 20th minute. A slick move involving Jimmy Carter, Steve Bennett and Dominic Dunton ended with Steve Coleman heading home.
At half time Cirencester were forced to make a change with Stuart Lewis replacing Scott Griffin and the half was only two minutes old when he played an important part in Cirencester getting their second goal, scored by Jimmy Carter who planted the ball into the net just inside the far post.
Cirencester's celebrations were short lived, however, as with two minutes the home side scored to get back in the game,.
Ten minutes from the end Cirencester conceded a penalty, but keeper Sawyer turned aside Ian Drewitt's powerful low shot.
