A BATH building consultancy has been awarded sixth place in a national top 100 league of building surveyors.
International property consultants King Sturge has moved up eight places from the position of 14th place last year.
Bob Chapman, the partner in charge of the Bath branch, said: "Things are on the up and up for King Sturge, both in the Bath area and nationally. We have developed our expertise in all the areas in which we are active."
The workforce in the Bath office has increased from 43 chartered surveyors to 67 in the past year.
Landlords and tenants regularly contact the consultancy for legal and contractual advice and the surveyors act as planning supervisors.
