ANDY King will have to re-shuffle his defensive pack after learning he will be without defender Richard Dryden for Saturday's game against Gateshead.

The 31-year-old has played in two games since arriving on loan from Premiership side Southampton.

Town boss Andy King said: "I will have to have a re-think as I believe Dryden will not not be allowed to play on Saturday."

The big centre half made a disastrous start to his loan spell after heading into his own net against Stoke City but recovered to put in a far more accomplished display against Northampton Town on Saturday.

He looked solid in a flat back four alongside Town skipper Alan Reeves.

A Southampton spokesman said: "We were contacted by Swindon inquiring about permission to play Richard Dryden but we have made it clear that permission will not be granted for him to play in the FA Cup."

A recall to the side for Antoine van der Linden is one option for King.
