SWINDON U12s, WITNEY U12s: Swindon continued their unbeaten run at Greenbridge Road on Sunday where they met Witney, in a hard and physical game.

Swindon went further ahead when the centre pairing of Daniel Whitmore and Patrick North finally broke the Witney defence allowing winger Scott Sturgiss, playing his first game, to score and with Daniel Whitmore adding the conversion to take the score to 120.
From the restart the Swindon forwards worked the ball back up field in a series of quick rucks and with the Witney defence drawn in, the Swindon backs exploited the blind side allowing Patrick North to score in the corner, which was converted by Daniel Whitmore.
Swindon's final try of the half came through second row Jon Habgood, who stole the ball in a line out five metres from the Witney try line and forced his way over the line to score his third try of the season. Daniel Whitmore added the two points to take the half time score to 260.
The second half was a closely fought affair with both teams coming close to scoring.
Witney finally crossed the Swindon line but despite their prop's efforts to ground the ball he was held up and in the resulting five metre scrum, hooker Jake Sheppard took the ball against the head and allowed Swindon to clear their lines.
Swindon's final try of the day came after Jon Habgood crossed the Witney line. In what was the last play of the game. Daniel Whitmore again added the two points to take the final score to 330.
