Afterwards coach Ken Lawson said: "Playing in Southern Counties, there is a real danger of complacency setting in and games like these sharpen everyone up.
"The forwards were forced out of their personal comfort zones and were found wanting in open contact play.
"Dorchester always got three men to the rucks whereas we only managed one or two. We can fool ourselves that this is okay in this season's league, but if we go up, we'll be exposed."
