ONCE again Mr Allnatt (Lib-Dem) set out to launch an attack on members of the opposition by sending your paper misleading information about Goldiggers.
This has been described by the council's solicitor as not only uncorroborated but also without persuasive circumstantial evidence, and this was confirmed by the way in which I voted at the council meeting on October 7th.
This must be an attempt to create a diversion from the serious complaint by David Poole (Lib-Dem) to the Government Ombudsman that the Lib-Dems have not acted in the best interest of the North Wiltshire District Council tax payers.
This comes in the same week as Mr Allnatt's Liberal Democratic Group tried to amend the Structure Plan at a Wiltshire County Council meeting, which if successful would have allowed developers to apply for planning permission on green field sites throughout North Wiltshire.
Furthermore, the District Auditor last week confirmed that the new Lib-Dem council offices will cost North Wiltshire taxpayers an extra £19.7 million approximately £20 each year on your council tax bill for the next twenty years.
Surely this raises the question as to whether Mr Allnatt really does care about either the council tax payers or the countryside of north Wiltshire.
