SCREWFIX DIRECT LEAGUE

WARMINSTER Town have signed teenage wing-back Adam Fricker, from Frome, ahead of tomorrow's visit to Wellington for a First Division match.
Town manager Gerry Pearson rates the 19-year-old as "one of the best in the division."
The signing is a timely boost for struggling Warminster, who will be without Gary Lewis (suspension), Peter Copeland (suspension) and John Delahaye (work commitments).
Pearson hopes the game will survive the current downpours and, despite his side having games in hand on the teams above them, he knows winning is the only way to steer clear of relegation.
"We're looking forward to the match. The players just want to get a game and the weather isn't allowing it," said Pearson.
"We need three points. Games in hand don't count for anything unless you out and win them."
Warminster beat Wellington earlier on in the season, but Pearson expects a much tougher task this time around.
"They always pick up as the season goes along," he said.
The game is not entirely safe from the weather though, with the strong possibility that it will not go ahead as planned. "The rain looks as though it's here to stay at the moment. Every team will have problems if it hits a couple more matches. Not enough games have been played."
Pearson's Warminster side are in the bottom four of the table and hope for a much needed win to try and ease their relegation worries.
Westbury United manager Lee Darby has brought in three new players ahead of the visit of Bridport tomorrow, with the arrival of strike pair Chris Tuck and Steve Shaw along with midfielder Stuart Card.
Card is one of four players who will miss the match, with the Smith brothers, Ian and Paul, both injured and Steve Munday away on work commitments.
Darby feels that every game means a lot at this stage of the season, and is confident about getting a result.
"All of our games will be important until the end of the season," he said. "If we put in 100 per cent I see no reason why we can't win the game."
Like every other manager in the region, Darby is desperate for matches to be played, with a heavy fixture schedule ahead because of the recent bad weather.
"The games are piling up now, but there's nothing we can do," said Darby.
"We've just got to train hard and pick the points when the matches come."
With Devizes' Nursteed Road pitch still causing concern, Brian Newlands' side have reversed tomorrow's Premier Division fixture and now travel to Dawlish.
After their Les Phillips Cup triumph over Premier Division neighbours Melksham Town, Corsham Town return to First Division action with a home match against Frome Town.
They have been boosted by the decision of David Kilmurray to turn down a move to Melksham.
Assistant manager Mark Godley said: "The cup win was nice, but we have to get back to winning points in the league.
Melksham Town player-manager Robbie Lardner has to lift his players for the Premier Division match at Brislington.
