SWINDON: A man was taken to hospital with burns after a mystery caller threw liquid at him in his home and set fire to it. The 27 year-old's trouser leg burst into flames but he was able to put them out with his hand. He was later treated for burns. The attack happened at 8.15pm on Wednesday at the victim's home in Morse Street in the town centre. When he answered the door the liquid was sprayed at him from a bottle by a man he did not recognise who called him by name. Swindon Police spokesman, Alvina Kumar, said: "This appears to have been an unprovoked and frightening attack." Police say the offender was white, around 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall, and of large build. He had a shaved head and was wearing blue jeans and a T-shirt.
