Youngsters from the Old Town-based Judith Hockaday School of dance carried home a brace of medals from the Grandison Clarke Awards in London.
At the event in the Commonwealth Institute in Kensington, the group, which is based in Prospect Place, managed to win three awards for duet and trio performances and two of the solo sections with traditional folk dances from around the world.
Ms Hockaday said: "They all did very well, to come away with all these awards is a real achievement."
