WOOTTON Bassett had another all-conquering day on Saturday, when all three teams won convincingly.
The First XV beat Corsham 20-5 in their Southern Counties South league match, and thoroughly deserved their victory.
They scored two early tries through Simon Cady and second-row Robin Smith, and Neil James added a penalty to take Bassett into the half-time break 13-0 up.
The second half was a lot different as Corsham came out with all guns blazing. They dominated the following 20 minutes, and were rewarded with an unconverted try.
This only seemed to spur on Bassett though, and they sealed the game ten minutes from time through a converted try from Number 8 Dave Floyd.
Bassett spokesman George Loughlin said: "We were expecting to win the game, but we knew it was going to be harder than that.
"We've won five league games in a row now, and we think we can win the league if we win the two crunch games later on in the month. The ball is certainly in our court now."
The Second XV thrashed Cheltenham North 80-0 and the Third XV beat Corsham Seconds 22-15.
