Hellenic:
Only two games were played in the Hellenic Premier, Cirencester Academy gained a 2-0 away success over Bishops Cleeve thanks to goals from Burnley in the 52nd and 90th minutes.
Brackley and Yate drew 1-1, Dempsey scoring in the first minute for Yate and Perrett in the last minute for Brackley.
Purton were in action in Division One, beating Letcombe 2-1 in a closely fought contest at the Red House.
Letcombe almost took the lead after five minutes. Following a hectic scramble in the Purton area, the home side were grateful to clear the ball into touch.
Purton regained their composure and took the lead on ten minutes when a long ball from Lee Marshall found Steve Tucker, who combined with Steve Avenall to set Alan Webb free to nip in and shoot past the keeper.
The young Letcombe side kept the Purton defence on their toes and gained a deserved equaliser three minutes into the second half, Dave Richardson netting with a blistering 25-yard free kick.
Ten minutes later Purton were again in front when Steve Tucker volleyed in an excellent effort from 20 yards that gave the visiting keeper no chance.
Pewsey Vale gained their third win from five games with a 3-1 away win over Clanfield.
Don Rogers' side looked good value for their victory with Goodwin, Stevens and Murray on target for the Wiltshire side and Bell replying for Clanfield.
Shrivenham attracted the highest attendance in the section for their home game with Ardley United and spectators were treated to an entertaining game. Ardley grabbed a 90th minute goal to run out 4-3 winners. Ayres, Pritchard and Peters netted for the home side and Beavon (2), Gough and an own goal for United.
Bottom club Malmesbury Vics picked up a useful point, holding Kidlington to a 1-1 draw. Both goals came in the last six minutes, Warren on 84 for the Vics and Holder on 88 for the home side.
