It was third time lucky for Brian Newlands' Devizes, as they finally overcame Odd Down 2-0. The vistors had already won twice at Nursteed Road this season.
After comprehensive defeats against the 'Downers' in the League and FA Cup, Devizes claimed a deserved win to book their place in today's FA Vase draw.
A first-half strike from veteran Barry Flippance put Town on their way. Flippance played a delightful one-two with Nick Mooney before firing home from ten yards.
Devizes came under pressure from the visitors after the break, but as Odd Down continued to press for the equaliser, Newlands' men caught them on the counter. Substitute Ashton Turner fed David Lloyd, who made no mistake from the edge of the area.
