A RANGE of courses are being offered by the Swindon branch of the Women's Educational Association.
The national educational organisation provides courses for adults of all ages and backgrounds.
The Swindon branch was formed in 1984 and the courses offered come largely as a result of suggestions from women themselves.
One of the courses is called Speaking Up. It is on Saturday at Walcot and aims to provide skills and techniques to help beat the nerves of speaking in public. The course fee is £14.
Other courses include Personal Safety Self Defence, Art for Fun and First Steps in Gaining Confidence.
Women and Anger is a course designed to help women use their anger constructively.
The Swindon branch of the WEA is based on the first floor at the Health Hydro in Milton Road. For more information phone (01793) 618233. All courses must be booked in advance.
