BLACKPOOL boss Steve McMahon felt it would have been a 'travesty' had Danny Invincible converted his injury-time spot kick and given Town a point.
The former County Ground boss took some abuse from the travelling Town faithful but had the satisfaction of seeing his side secure the three points.
He said: "I thought we were excellent in the first-half and made a great start.
"We dropped a bit deeper in the second half and were a little bit disappointing with our retention of the ball.
"This allowed to Swindon to pass it a bit more without ever really carving us open.
"But while it's only 1-0 you are left with that gut feeling that something might happen.
"It was very disappointing to concede the penalty in the way that we did.
"Martin Bullock's been pushed off the ball, Caldwell's dived in and we've conceded a penalty with 30 seconds of stoppage time left.
"But what a magnificent save from the penalty.
"He made a great save just before that and James (Pullen) has got us three points.
"It would have been a travesty, as Roy Evans said to me, if they'd equalised because we really deserved the three points.
"We've played better than that this season and lost."
