Corsham cashed in with their first away points in Southern Counties South courtesy of a last-gasp kick from Swindon finance manager Phil Kernan.
Trailing 10-8 to a late Cooper-Avon Tyres penalty, the visitors just had enough injury time to earn themselves a penalty given for offside 22 metres out.
With the very last kick of the game, full-back Kernan stepped up to snatch the cruellest of victories against a Melksham side all but celebrating their second league points of the season.
Cooper-Avon had taken the lead, very much against the run of play, in this scrappy local derby, centre Rich Woolford converting a try directly in front of the posts.
Corsham, failing to make their forward domination count, at last cut the deficit with a close range try from flanker Rich Morea.
Centre Rory Auld edged them in front with a second half penalty before Woolford's late penalty looked to have sealed a first win for the Melksham outfit.
That was until the dying seconds, however, when Kernan stepped up to take over the kicking duties and turn the tables in dramatic fashion.
