MISS UK Michelle Newton struck an old-fashioned pose at the Scottish Motor Show in Glasgow.
She draped herself across the new Honda CR-V sports utility vehicle.
And, to acknowledge that the car is made in Swindon's South Marston plant, she had a copy of the Evening Advertise handy as well.
The event saw the CR-V's European debut, there being no other motor shows in the UK this year.
The London Motor Show was cancelled due to lack of support from the industry and the Belfast show because of the foot and mouth crisis.
Honda's Swindon operation, where 4,000 people are employed, will be able to produce 250,000 cars by next year, 100, 000 of these being the CR-V, most of which will be exported to North America.
A full report on the Scottish Motor Show, where Honda's new supermini, the Jazz, was the star, will appear in this week's Drive section of the paper on Friday.
