CHILDREN from eight to 16 are treading the same boards in a production of Joseph at Churchfields School.
The specialist performing arts college has organised the play in collaboration with four nearby primary schools, using funding it is awarded by the Government.
The primaries involved are Lawn Junior, Mountford Manor Primary, Lainesmead Primary and Oaktree Nursery and Primary.
The first performance took place last night and will be repeated tonight and tomorrow, with matinee performances each day for the primary schools.
A total of 50 youngsters are on the cast, half of whom are from years five and six of the primaries.
Churchfields pupil, Liam Harris, 11, is playing Joseph, while the three narrators are all being played by year five pupils, Lucy Keogh, Abigayle Gething and Ellie Griffiths.
Tickets, costing £3 for adults and £2 for children, are available from Churchfields on 487286.
