ANTIQUES were stolen from two homes in Tytherton Lucas, near Chippenham, at the weekend.
Burglars took a grandfather clock valued at £1,500 from one house between 7.15pm and 9.15pm on Saturday.
They broke into the dining room of another house through a sash window.
They stole antiques valued at more than £4,380, including silver candlesticks, ladles, two silver teaspoons, wine coasters, a silver jug, a mantel clock and an oval table.
The burglars drove off in a £2,000 stolen Rover car, which was later found abandoned and burnt out in Bristol.
