A CALNE woman is alleged to have been struck to the ground with a billiard cue during a fight in Chippenham's Old Road.
A conflict between two groups of people broke out between 10pm and 10.30pm on October 30 near the Railway public house.
"The dispute ended in a fight during which it is believed a pool cue was used to cause damage to the windscreen of the victim's car," said a police spokesman.
"Then the same suspect kicked and struck the victim with the pool cue, knocking her to the ground, causing swelling to the side of the head," he said.
The assailant was described as a white man, about six feet tall, about 35 years, with cropped dark hair and wearing a striped blue and green T-shirt. The car suffered £90 worth of damage.
